Permissions on Panopto are role-based:

• A small number of 图书馆 和 资讯科技服务 (LITS) staff have Admin or Videographer roles on Panopto 和 can access all User Content 和 view all Usage Data related to the College’s account.
  • Admins 和 videographers use content 和/or data pertaining to individual, identified users to the extent needed to:

Panopto is a video-streaming service 和 is designed for content that is routinely viewed. Although our Panopto license does not have storage limitations, videos will be automatically archived if they have not been viewed for three years 改善网站性能. Creators can also delete or “unshare” their own recordings, 和 LITS strongly recommends deleting recordings containing identifiable persons once they are no longer needed as a privacy best practice.
